Their bike buses picks you up from Puerto Pollenca. As well as the service being fully licensed and insured, all bikes are safely packed between mattresses in custom trailers ensuring they arrive in the same condition as they departed.
Prices are reasonable, representing good value for the way they look after you and more importantly your bike!
The Andratx to Pollenca Cycle Route.
As well as being the best cycle route in Mallorca, this is one of the best cycle routes in the world. We suggest making it the highlight of your Mallorca trip, the Queen stage, the one you will remember forever. If I were only going to ride one more route again in my life, this would be the one I would choose.
There is a lot of climbing, so these routes are not for everyone. But if you are fit enough we suggest taking one of the 700+ scheduled bike buses on the excellent Mallorca Cycle Shuttle and starting in either Andratx or Port Pollenca and then cycling back for what will more than likely be your best ever day on a bike.
The Andratx to Pollenca or the Pollenca to Andratx ride has everything you would expect of a route that spans the world heritage Serra de Tramuntana mountain range. There are excellent road surfaces; coastal as well as forest views; brilliant climbs that are hard but not too hard; sweeping descents and picturesque villages with great little cafés scattered regularly along the route. Throw in a low volume of traffic and 308 days of sunshine each year and you have the complete package.
Choose between routes of 115km with 2400m of climbing right up to 162km with 4300m of climbing that includes the amazing sea to peak climbs of Port des Canonge, Port Valldemossa and Sa Calobra as well as the longest and highest climb on the island, Puig Major.
