The Coll de sa Gramola climbs out of the western town of Andratx and marks the start of the dramatic costal road to Estellencs and Banyalbulfar. The road has a distinct feel from the major climbs of the Eastern Serra, rather than lots of switchbacks the road climbs along the contour lines. More of a power climb the gradient never gets very testing, averaging around 5%. The surface is immaculate throughout, smooth and wide. As you approach the summit the Mediterranean looms larger. A breathtaking descent includes a couple of fast tunnels before the road bumps along to the picturesque village of Estellencs.
Ride the Coll de sa Gramola as part of the Banyalbufar & the Western Coast or West Tramuntana Epic rides or as an out and back ride from any of the western resorts (Port d’Andratx, Camp de Mar, Peguera).
