A 518m high mountain near Llucmajor that is separate from the main Tramuntana range. At the top sits a monastery, car park and cafe. In early spring and late autumn the climb is a cyclist mecca. The main climb is challenging but never too steep. Spectacular views of the whole island can be had from the top 1/3 of the climb.
There are two sides to attempt the Puig de Randa from, the main north face approach and the more challenging southern face. Try the southern approach to get away from the crowds (both motor and pedal).
Southern Approach (harder)
