Rode this route today starting in Llucmajor after riding about 10km in from Son Antem. The final stretch from Porreres to Llucmajor was a decent rise and stung a bit – even though it doesn’t look much – with k’s in the legs and a very strong headwind! Might have taken a wrong turn because I don’t have a GPS computer and I was using my phone… but if I didn’t, the road after the ascent to the Ermita de Bonany that takes you to Villafranca de Bonany wasn’t exactly appropriate for a road bike. Other than that was a fantastic ride to start my week of riding here in Mallorca. Great place for cycling.

[…] Heading out of the quiet town of Porto Cristo you begin your journey back to Puerto Pollenca, however if you feel like little climb to stretch the legs ‘Sant Salvador’ a cheeky 5km climb is on your door step. Not a long climb but does kick up to 15% in places, worth the effort though, 360 degree views of the Island awaits you at the top. If you want to miss it this time then you can always climb it another time on my Three Monasteries ride. […]
